Win Grants, Get Kit

In November, we were awarded a $1,000 grant from FUSA to put towards buying the basics of snorkel/freedive/scuba kit. 

​

We have purchased new boots (one of every size), new weight belts (4), new masks (3), and new fins (4).

​

We are stoked to be able to supply you with fresh kit leading into the busy summer period! Come down and try it out!

Clubroom Makeover

If you haven’t been around the club recently, you may not have seen the changes. We have a brand new floor plan!

To make it more welcoming for visitors and easier for members to chat all things diving, we moved the social area to the front of the shed.

Not only has this given us a whole lot more room to socialise but it also declutters and opens up the rest of the shed. Come down and check it out!

Out with the old, in with the new

The Committee has decided sell the Nissan Patrol and buy a Toyota LandCruiser.

​

The main benefit of this new tow vehicle is that it has an automatic transmission allowing for a wider range of people to be able to operate it comfortably. 

The other advantage is that it is petrol ONLY with two 70L tanks, so we won't run into the issues we had with the gas converted patrol!
